Please choose from one of the following: Private support makes it possible for The Hospice of East Texas to fulfill a promise: every patient and family who needs our services will receive them, regardless of their ability to pay. Hospice of East Texas is more than happy to help you commemorate the memory of a loved one by accepting donations “in memory of” that special person. All memorials and donations are acknowledged upon receipt without mention of the gift amount. A gift to The Hospice of East Texas in honor of a loved one, friend or business associate is a wonderful way to pay tribute to someone whose presence brings joy and meaning to your life or to recognize a special occasion or milestone such as a birthday or anniversary. Light Up A Life, a holiday fundraising project benefiting The Hospice of East Texas, is held each November and December to honor and remember loved ones and those dear to us. Your gift of $10 or more “lights up a life” in memory or honor of someone special. Cheerful, blazing lights on beautiful trees located throughout the Hospice of East Texas service area are a season-long reminder of those who have touched our lives. In Tyler: In Nacogdoches: The Nacogdoches County Master Gardeners’ demonstration garden is located in a park-like setting owned by the City of Nacogdoches off Main Street, just west of University Drive. The Master Gardeners have spent many hours planning for the beautification of the site, and securing and planting plants, shrubs and trees. They have transformed the once-barren space into the beginning of a beautiful garden which has the possibility of becoming a true community gathering space. Located in the center of the garden, The Hospice of East Texas Walk of Friends is an eight foot wide circular pathway of bricks. The walk surrounds a smooth area paved with crushed granite which will be used for a pavilion site for gatherings. *Please note that bricks and granite blocks require several months to be produced. Hand-painted tiles are located throughout HomePlace, recognizing those who generously support the work of The Hospice of East Texas. Individuals, businesses and corporations who contribute $1000 are recognized by the placement of a tile, if they desire.
